RevenueHits was founded in 2008 and since then it has grown steadily and strongly. Today, many publishers consider RevenueHits one of the alternates of Google AdSense, and one of the best way to increase their overall monthly earnings. It accepts sites that have been rejected by Google Adsense program. It is very different when compared to the other ad networks on this list.

RevenueHits Ad Options

RevenueHits offers many ad options available including pop-ups, pop-unders, ad-block pop-under, banners, sliders, footers, site-under ads, desktop interstitial and more. The more ad options which are available, the better the target audience can be reached and engaged with. That means that your blog’s ad space will not show ads that do not perform well, as RevenueHits uses advanced algorithms to research and examine the ways to place the ads with the goal of continually improving their performance.

RevenueHits has come with one of the latest and revolutionary monetization option, and that is Desktop Interstitial. It is a great replacement for pop, Google safe, and it has high payouts due to the fact that is used by premium advertisers.

RevenueHits is a CPA advertising network that delivers results for its advertisers. For us (publishers), they’re basically a PPC/CPM network (depends on the type of ads you’re using) and it’s definitely one of the best you can find out there.

Display Banners

A banner is an advertisement embedded into a web page. Banners have different sizes, can be located in different places, and can be static or animated, depending on the technology used to make them.

A pop ad offers a very effective way to generate instant revenues from your existing website traffic due to its high visibility.

The pop opens the ad window behind the current browser window – making it visible only when the user closes the window or tab.

In Page Push

In-Page Push resembles the classic Push. It is displayed on a specific webpage and does not require a subscription from your website’s users, therefore it is visible to ALL users, including iOS users.

A button is a small graphical advertising unit, placed anywhere on the page.

A footer ad consists of a banner that is displayed horizontally across the bottom of the viewed section of a webpage, above the content. The footer maintains its position in the browser as the visitor scrolls down the page. At the left side of the banner appear social icons, and at the right side appears a search box.

Floating Banner

A full-screen advertisement that is displayed at natural transition points in the flow of the editorial content structure, like between two content pages. Its layer is transparent, and it is clicked wherever the visitor clicks on the page.

Shadow Box

An opaque box that appears in the middle of the screen, displaying your ad. If you’re worried about ad blindness, a shadow box cannot be ignored.

A banner that is located in different places on the webpage and stays fixed while the visitor scrolls up or down.

A message that pops up on the mobile screen and gives the visitor two options in order to proceed: press ok or cancel.

Important Note: Some people (and even Google) have expressed their opinion and pop-up/pop-under ads are not warmly welcomed anymore, so I recommend you to stick with interstitials as it’s probably the format that better replaces the outdated pop ads.
