Wuthering Waves Guide: Boundary of Yellow and White Exploration Quest in Mt. Firmament

Welcome to our comprehensive guide on “Boundary of Yellow and White,” an Exploration Quest located in the Mt. Firmament region of Wuthering Waves. This guide will help you unlock and complete the quest, ensuring a smooth and rewarding experience.

How to Unlock “Boundary of Yellow and White”

To unlock “Boundary of Yellow and White,” you must first complete “Glorious Loong’s Pearl,” the first sub-quest of the Exploration Quest called “Mirrored Loong’s Pearl.” Once this prerequisite is completed, the quest will automatically appear in your quest list. This quest is located north of Mt. Firmament’s Xuanji Ridges.

Quest Walkthrough

1. Activate the Altar of Initiation:
   • Start by teleporting to the Resonance Beacon at Xuanji Ridges. Head north to the marked location in-game and activate the Altar of Initiation to start the Light Path puzzle.
2. Deactivate the Photon Barrier:
   • Proceed to the marked Altar of Radiance, which is inside a Photon Barrier. Follow the golden energy path to find and deactivate the Photonvault powering the barrier.
3. Disable the Photonvault:
   • Locate the Photonvault at the marked spot and attack it using any Resonators to deactivate it.
4. Defeat Junrocks and Rotate the Altar:
   • Return to the Altar of Radiance and defeat the Fission Junrocks guarding it. Rotate the Altar once to progress the puzzle.
5. Head to the Next Marked Altar:
   • Go to the next marked Altar of Radiance and defeat the Fractsidus enemies guarding it. Rotate the Altar three times to light up the next one. Don’t forget to open the nearby supply chest.
6. Solve Another Photon Barrier Puzzle:
   • Proceed to the third marked Altar and disable another Photon Barrier by deactivating three Photonvaults. Defeat the Fission Junrocks and the Stonewall Bracer guarding the Altar. Rotate the Altar two times to progress the quest.
   All Three Photonvault Locations:
   • First Photonvault: Located beside the Photon Barrier. Attack it to disable.
   • Second Photonvault: On top of a big rock near the Photon Barrier. Climb up and attack it.
   • Third Photonvault: Hidden inside a Fissured Ledge. Use a Levitator to pick up the Tacetite Fulminate in front of the Ledge and throw it to reveal the Photonvault. Attack to disable.
7. Defeat the Clang Bangs Near the Altar:
   • Go to the last Altar of Radiance and defeat the Clang Bangs guarding it. Rotate the Altar three times.
8. Complete the Rite of Offering:
   • After solving the puzzle, stand on the marked location and align the orb at the dragon’s mouth to complete the Rite of Offering. This action will trigger a short cutscene, ending the quest.
