How to Unlock
Complete Speedy Chaser
Trace to the Source is a subquest of A Call From the Hollow’s Heart and can only be unlocked after completing the previous commission in the questline, Speedy Chaser.

Trace to the Source Guide
Talk to Grace in Brant Street Construction Site
- Meet with Koleda:
- After finishing Speedy Chaser, follow the objectives until it tells you to go to the Brant Street Construction Site to meet with Koleda.
- Some dialogue scenes will play out, and Grace will give you the commission.
Complete the Commission Using the HDD
- Use the HDD System:
- Go back to Random Play and use the HDD System to start the commission.

Step-By-Step Guide
- Get Observation Data 1
- Progress through the map, destroy the first breakable wall, and then obtain the first observation data.
- Navigate the Left Machine to the Goal
- The next section of the puzzle involves you controlling one of the heavy machines (left one) using the control sticks. Destroy the walls by passing through them with the heavy machine.
- Before going to the goal, destroy the walls on the top of the heavy-duty grappler since the grappler cannot destroy walls once you control it.
- Note: The heavy machine cannot pass through bombs in the area.
- Get Observation Data 2
- Go back down and go through the new path to get Observation Data 2. Proceed up to navigate the heavy-duty grappler (the machine on the right).
- Navigate the Right Machine to the Goal
- Control the heavy-duty grappler to get to the goal. This one can destroy bombs but cannot destroy walls, so make sure that you have destroyed the walls on its way with the other machine.
- Go Help Grace
- Once the machines are on the goal, an enemy will attack Grace. Go to Grace’s location on the map to trigger a fight.
- After the fight, some dialogue will play out, and Fairy will optimize the algorithm to search for the target location. Once the target location appears, go there to move to the next map.
- Get Observation Data 3 and Fight the Enemy
- On the second map, you can immediately see the final observation data. Go there and heal up in the safe zone if your health is low, and get the other items.
- Finally, go to the prototype and fight the enemies to finish the commission.
