Tinder ‘Swipe Surge’ Tells You When More People Are Swiping Around You

Tinder has started testing a new feature in the United States called ‘Swipe Surge’, which will tell you when more people are swiping in your area. The app will send you a push notification alerting you about the spike in Tinder usage.

According to Tinder, this new feature is meant to help you capitalize on real-world events like a music festival, parties, etc. It is, however, worth noting that the users must turn on push notifications from Tinder.

The feature is currently being tested with select iOS users in the US, but it is expected to arrive soon in other regions as well.
