The Most Secure Web Browser?

I am sure you’ve heard of a lot of browser and have tried a number of these as well. To name a few we have Firefox, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, Opera, Safari, etc. Well you must be thinking which one this is the most secure web browser.

German Security X41 D-Sec executed various attacks against the three browsers (Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer) to find the most secure and resilient one. Among these Google Chrome was confirmed to the most secure web browser.

As per the research Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge use advanced sandboxing techniques and better mitigation measures as compared to Internet Explorer. X41 found that higher levels of “compartmentalization” in Chrome makes it safer than Edge.

Moreover, despite Edge, Microsoft continues to urge using IE as your default browser. Edge and IE were found to be using outdated techniques for fending off any phishing attacks however a hacker can completely take over computers using an infected extension.

Besides, the X41 found out that Chrome’s development team provided swift bug fixes and faster delivery of security patches than Microsoft.

So the next time you rely on a web browser you make sure which one is the safe one.

Let me know in comments which browser you use and do you think it is safe?
