New Siri Shortcut Brings ‘OK Google’ Command to Activate Google Assistant

Google has updated its Assistant app on iOS to introduce support for Siri Shortcuts. The updated Assistant app on iOS now lets you trigger the Google Assistant.

You can create a custom command to activate the Google Assistant. Once done, you can wake up Siri with the simple “Hey Siri” command, and then activate the Google Assistant by using any custom command you want. We went with the classic ‘OK Google’ and it works flawlessly and it’s a lot of fun watching Siri waking up Google Assistant for you.
