PARK YOUR CAR ANYWHERE WITHOUT WORRY | GOOGLE MAPS SAVE YOUR PARKING SPOT
Guys if you use Google Maps for Navigation then there is the latest update for you. With this latest update, you can save your parking spot or car parking position without worrying to remember that where you parked. You can add photos of the parking position also you can share this parking position with anyone else.
How to save your spot on Android
- Open the Google Maps app.
- Tap the blue dot that shows your location.
- Tap “Save your parking.”
On Android, you can also move your parking location by tapping the search bar, then “Parking location,” then “Change location” (or remove it by tapping the “X”). And you can add notes, such as what floor you’re parked on or when your meter is going to run out, by tapping the search bar, then “Parking location” and then “More info.”
To find your spot, tap the search bar, then “parking location,” and then on the bottom right, tap “Directions.”
How to save your spot on iOS
- Open the Google Maps app.
- Tap the blue dot that shows your location.
- Tap “Set as parking location.”
Your parking location is now set until you remove it by tapping “clear” or when you set a new location.
To find your parking spot, tap “Saved parking > Show on map” at the bottom of the screen. If you want to display your parking location after you’ve looked up another place in Maps, you’ll have to clear your search results first by tapping the “X” in the search bar. Then you can tap “Saved parking” at the bottom.
You can also set notifications for parking info, such as where you parked and for how long, by tapping the menu in the top left corner of the screen. Go to “Settings,” then “Notifications” and then select for “Saved parking locations” to be on or off.
Or, if you want to go all in, you can allow Google to “note your physical activity,” and Maps will automatically remember where you parked.
