Hadrian X – The Aussie Robot Builds 3-Bedroom House in 3 Days

Australian Robotics company, Fastbrick, has announced that its Hadrian X robot has managed to construct a house in under three days, a feat it described as a “world first”.

The company says that the 180-square meter (around 1937 sqft), three-bedroom, two-bathroom home in Western Australia was built through a ‘fully-automated’ construction process that involved laying pre-cut bricks with a laser-guided robotic arm.

Civil and structural engineers have already verified that the structure meets relevant building regulations, possibly paving the way for future commercialization of the product.
