Introduction
Welcome to the detailed guide for Icedrift Hollow: Mid-Level in Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ). This stage is part of the Watch Your Step event’s Day 3 challenges. In this guide, we’ll provide step-by-step instructions for completing both the Easy and Hard Mode commissions, and highlight the rewards you can earn. Let’s get started!
Hard Commission Guide
Icedrift Hollow Mid-Level is a critical stage in the Watch Your Step event. Completing the Hard Mode Commission will earn you HIA Data Samples and other valuable rewards.

How to Get HIA Data Samples
Enter the Portal Tile
Step 1: You cannot activate the two blue switch tiles as there are no boxes on this floor. Move towards the portal tile to enter the second floor.
Push the First Box Towards the Hole
Step 2: Move up and left to pick up the first HIA Data Sample. Move up, right, and up two times to push the box towards the hole so it falls down directly on the blue switch tile on the first floor.
Push the Second Box Towards the Hole
Step 3: Move left, up, left, and down to push the second box towards the hole so that it falls down on the first floor. Move towards any of the fissures to head down back to the first floor.
Push the Box to the Blue Switch Tile
Step 4: If you jumped from the same hole where you pushed the box, you will need to move the box to the blue switch tile to unlock the locked blue question mark tile near the portal tile.
Pick Up the Second HIA Data Sample
Step 5: After unlocking the locked question mark tile, head towards the left side and pick up the second HIA Data Sample. Move down towards the portal tile on the bottom-left corner to enter the second floor.
Pick Up the Third HIA Data Sample
Step 6: Pick up the third HIA Data Sample and enter the portal to reach the third floor.
Move the Boxes and Pick Up the Fourth and Fifth HIA Data Samples
Step 7: Follow the path shown in the image above to move all three boxes and pick up the fourth and fifth HIA Data Samples.
Move to the Right Towards the Exit Tile
Step 8: Move to the exit tile to enter the combat sequence. Defeat all the enemies to complete the commission.

Icedrift Hollow Mid-Level Easy Mode Route
Push the Box Upwards
Step 1: Move towards the bottom part of the box and push it upwards to swap places with it. This will allow you to push it towards the blue switch tile.
Move the Box to the Right Side
Step 2: Follow the directions as shown in the image above to push the box to the right side above the blue switch tile.
Move the Box Down Towards the Blue Switch
Step 3: From the starting point, move the box up, right, and down to push it towards the blue switch tile. This unlocks the tile with the blue question mark on it, allowing you to pick up the Purple Box on the left side and reach the portal tile on the right side to enter the second floor.
Move the Box to the Blue Switch
Step 4: On the second floor, move upwards and move to the left 3 times to push the box to the corner. Move down and head left to pick up the first Purple Box. Move upwards to push the box to the blue switch tile on the top-left corner to unlock the door. Pick up the second Purple Box and head to the portal tile to enter the third floor.
Activate the First Blue Switch
Step 5: Move to the left to pick up the Purple Box. Move down to push the first box to the first blue switch.
Activate the Second Blue Switch
Step 6: Follow the direction as shown in the image above to move the second box towards the second blue switch tile. Pick up the Gold Box and reach the exit to enter the combat sequence. Defeat all the enemies to complete the commission.

To collect all HIA Data Samples in the Hard Commissions of each stage in Watch Your Step, ensure you accumulate the data, leading to more rewards. Icedrift Hollow Mid-Level has a total of 5 HIA Data Samples, and being the first stage, you should have 5 at this point.

Part of the Watch Your Step Event, Icedrift Hollow: Mid-Level is the Day 3 stage where you must plan out the best route in the easy commission and get the HIA Data Samples in the hard commission.
