AMD Announces Mid-Range Radeon RX 590 to Take on NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060

AMD has announced the new Radeon RX 590 which is a successor to the popular RX 580. The GPU comes with 8GB memory and costs $279 and should compete with NVIDIA’s GTX 1060.

Difference between RX 590 and RX 580

The RX 590 is only slightly upgraded over the RX 580, with the only differentiating factors being the 12nm production process instead of 14nm as well as higher power delivery.

AMD will also offer free games worth $180 with the GPU as part of its Black Friday offer.
