Microsoft has finally ceased the production of Xbox Kinect adapter that lets Xbox One S, Xbox One X, and Windows PC users attach the depth-sensing camera to their consoles. This means that the company won’t be selling the adapters going forward and you’ll either have to get one from a third-party website or let your Kinect sensor collect dust in your closet.

In an official statement, the company’s spokesperson said, “After careful consideration, we decided to stop manufacturing the Xbox Kinect Adapter to focus attention on launching new, higher fan-requested gaming accessories across Xbox One and Windows 10.“
